Former WWE wrestler Cameron debuted on last night's AEW Dynamite, introducing herself as her real name, Ariane, and confirming that she will partner Nyla Rose in the upcoming Deadly Draw women's tag team tournament.

The segment came following clarification of the Deadly Draw's rules. It was announced that wrestlers would be put together at random, with those who draw matching coloured balls being paired up. Rose, accompanied by manager Vickie Guerrero, pulled out a purple ball. So had Ariane, who walked up, introduced herself, and left Rose and Guerrero perplexed.

Cameron was a WWE employee from 2011 to 2016. Best known for her time alongside Naomi as Broadus Clay's Funkadactyls, she was let go by the promotion in May 2016 and hasn't wrestled a single bout since then (per Cagematch), with her last in-ring outing being a six-person tag on a house show that March. She was booked for several WrestleMania 36 weekend events in Tampa Bay prior to the global shutdown, however.

The Deadly Draw tournament commences on AEW's official YouTube channel this coming Monday (3 August). No other teams have been confirmed yet, though The Nightmare Sisters were advertised prior to the random draw rules being confirmed.
