CM Punk has spent the past few months training for his seemingly imminent return to professional wrestling - and things are reportedly going well.

Fightful Select spoke to multiple sources on the matter, all of whom have worked with Punk over the past six months. The first commented that the 42-year-old looked "completely" healthy compared to how he was in the final days of his WWE run, which ended in 2014. The 20 August episode of AEW Rampage has been pinpointed for Punk's big comeback. The promotion has teased this itself, doing so upon announcing that the show would take place at the United Center in Punk's Chicago, Illinois hometown. The tickets were then snapped up in an instant, with over 10,000 shifting in the presale before the remaining vanished in under an hour of going on general sale.

If Punk does show up next Friday, it'll be his first wrestling appearance since Royal Rumble 2014.
