After being left with a bloody nose on SmackDown this past Friday, WWE's Alexa Bliss has issued an update for fans concerned that the five-time Women's Champion suffered a significant injury.

SmackDown saw Bliss take on Roxanne Perez ahead of SummerSlam next weekend, with this injury seemingly happening as Alexa dove to the outside of the ring with a Twisted Bliss to stop Raquel Rodriguez from powerbombing Charlotte Flair. Once Alexa re-entered the ring, she was quickly pinned by Perez and could be seen with blood on and around her nose. A subsequent backstage segment between Bliss and Flair also showed Alexa's bloodied face, as she cleaned herself up with a tissue.

From looking back at the footage, it appears that Bliss' face collided with the floor as part of that dive out onto Raquel:

Responding to a fan on X, Alexa Bliss confirmed that, despite this scare, she is "1000000% totally fine".

As alluded to, on the imminent horizon for Alexa is SummerSlam next weekend, where she teams with Charlotte Flair to face WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.

For Bliss, this is the most prominent she's been utilised on WWE programming since returning at this year's Royal Rumble. Prior to that, Alexa had been away from the ring for two years. Since her return, the Ohio native has competed in the Elimination Chamber, in the Money in the Bank ladder match, and got to the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring, though her partnership with Flair has not only resulted in Alexa being a more regular presence on TV, but has also helped reinvigorate and refresh Charlotte due to the dynamic between the pair.

Should Bliss and Flair prove successful at SummerSlam, that will mark a fourth run as a Women's Tag Team Champion for Alexa, while it would be a second reign for Charlotte.
