The Wrestling Observer is reporting that AEW boss Tony Khan may have to sit down with some key All Elite stars to thrash out improved contracts and extensions over the next few months.

Dave Meltzer claims that some AEW wrestlers are interested in jumping to WWE for "main roster money", but those folks have been advised by "friends in the company" to wait until 2024. According to the site, Khan will be able to offer them more cash by then due to AEW's renewed TV deal.

Of course, that's conjecture and wholly dependent on what kind of figures Khan can renegotiate with TV execs. If it's a bigger number, then he may be willing to have crunch talks and put more money on the table for those exploring the possibility of a WWE leap.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics estimates that AEW's next TV deal will be worth a whopping $135 million (around triple the annual figure now). Meanwhile, other sources claim the number will be closer to $90 million. Either way, AEW will be in a better position financially.

That could prove crucial when trying to hold onto top stars.
