It’s Official: THIS Was WWE’s Most Hated Moment Of 2020

1. Goldberg Spears Wyatt 4 Times (WWE Super ShowDown 2020)

Dislikes: 37K

Read that number again.

And again.

Thirty-seven thousand! That's almost thrice the total of WWE's second most-hated YouTube clip of the year, and understandably show. Goldberg's defeat of 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt was an omnishambles.

On the worst wrestling pay-per-view of the year, WWE took a popular, merch-shifting Universal Champion and buried him at the expense of an ailing WCW squash merchant two decades removed from his prime. That the match stunk made matters even worse, with Goldberg winning via the worst Jackhammer ever, having reportedly refused to put Wyatt over at Super ShowDown.

No wrestling moment united the fans in negativity quite like this in 2020. RETRIBUTION, cinematic matches, the SmackDown karaoke segment, Erick Rowan's spider, and the dog food all drew considerable flak, though each had sizeable parties willing to defend them. This? Not one.

An objectively poor idea, regardless of what you think of 'The Fiend'. The colossal number of dislikes is deserved.
