6. Marathon: Seth Rollins

WWE Olympics
WWE

Is there anybody in WWE today who can go as long and hard whilst barely breaking into a sweat as Seth Rollins? His work-rate is practically unparalleled. Remember when he defended two titles in a single night? My hero.

Perhaps it isn't immediately clear how this makes Seth Rollins a viable contender for an Olympic marathon. As I discovered in my youth, long distance running is not made any easier by simply sprinting as fast as possible and hoping to get to the end sooner.

No: it's made infinitely, excruciatingly harder. The key is stamina. Slow and steady wins the race, they say, and whilst I think this is absolute twaddle when it comes to sprints like the 100m, it's undeniably accurate when it comes to marathons.

Seth can go like a solar powered Energiser bunny on the equator. During the day. And he's no slouch when it comes to moving around the ring either. Rollins just keeps on rollin'. (Maybe he should be cycling?)

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
