5. Synchronised Swimming: The New Day

Perfect attunement is the key to synchronisity, and there's no team in WWE currently as perfectly co-ordinated as The New Day. The trio share a hive-mind like telepathy, the cohesion of their teamwork elevating them above every other tandem on the roster (although let's face it, the competition is not particularly stiff).

There's also the small matter of the fact that synchronised swimming demands four participants, and - if we include Francesca (and ignore for a moment that she's a brass musical instrument), - The New Day are the only quartet that fit the bill. The Wyatt Family's recent separation rules them out, which is somewhat unfortunate. Could any Olympic pool contain them?

Were they to go their own ways, each of The New Day could pose a significant threat in an individual event. Big E is natural powerlifter, Kofi Kingston would be hot on the heels of Fandango in the gymnastics, and Xavier Woods? It has to be boxing, given his background as Consequences Creed. But they'd rather compete together. It's heartening just how tightly knit the three are.

It's a shame unicorns don't exist, or else I'd stick them in the equestrian too. Ain't no rules banning horned horsies.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
