JBL Shares Hilarious WWE 'Coffin' Story About The Undertaker

"It’s pretty hot in there, apparently"...

The Undertaker has always been great at protecting his supernatural gimmick over the years. He'd show up to autograph appearances, media commitments and more in character, and he rarely let the mystique fade whenever he was in public.

This might've been taking things a little too far though.

JBL told Sportskeeda that he once laughed his ass off at one 'Taker story. The 'Deadman' fancied a nap backstage, but didn't want to be bothered by fans or WWE staff. So, he actually leapt into one of his prop caskets to catch some shut eye.

He even shut the lid so that nobody would see him.

A few hours later, he awoke hot and bothered (coffins aren't known for letting much air in, after all) and pushed the lid off. Some staff members and others had gathered around the area, and they were horrified to see none other than 'Taker himself emerge from his spooky slumbers.

What a fright that must've given everyone - JBL thought the whole thing was hilarious, especially because 'Taker didn't say a word to anyone. He simply sat up, got out and then walked off silently.
