John Cena Vs. The Fiend To Get "Full-Blown Movie Treatment"
WWE has special plans for this WrestleMania 36 blockbuster.
WWE's 'Showcase of the Immortal's' isn't set to go Hollywood until 2021, when WrestleMania 37 broadcasts from Los Angeles County, though it sounds like the promotion is about to get cinematic with one of this year's biggest matches.
This is according to a new report from Gorilla Position claiming that John Cena vs. 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt will "get a full-blown movie treatment with a unique look and feel." They reference Wyatt's 2017 House of Horrors clash with Randy Orton, adding that the Cena match will likely be filmed in a warehouse.
The House of Horrors was one of its year's most maligned matches at the end of a feud lowlighted by Bray projecting insects onto the canvas at 'Mania 33. Things could get super wacky with Cena vs. Wyatt, though this might not be the only 'Mania 36 match to be filmed outside the Performance Center, with The Undertaker and AJ Styles' ambiguous "Boneyard" stipulation prompting all kinds of speculation.
WrestleMania 36 will be taped at various locations this Wednesday and Thursday, meaning details on this cinematic Wyatt/Cena bout could emerge before 'The Show of Shows' broadcasts on 4 and 5 April.
