You cant wrestle! are the chants that have constantly followed Cena from one arena to another never more prominent than the wrestling cities like Chicago, New York or Philadelphia. The fact is despite all his criticisms John Cena is not a bad wrestler, so long as hes got an opponent of the likes of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan who will challenge him, he can keep up and put on absolute spectacles his match with CM Punk at Money in the Bank is a five star masterpiece. The problem Cena has is his inconsistency; hell go from having an instant classic with Daniel Bryan, to matches with Randy Orton (despite the star power pushing them) that just fall flat. He almost seems like hes not confident enough to carry a match himself against less experienced opposition. Another problem is his Hulk Hogan-esque moveset his five moves of doom will forever haunt his legacy, and the whole routine just ruins the story the two wrestlers are trying to tell. Hulk Hogan, for all the good hes done for the industry in the past (and let's be honest, the current bad outweighs most of the good), he was never that talented a wrestler (despite what he may think) and like Cena, had a very limited skill set. Cena has tried to update his arsenal, but some of the additions like the monkey flip or missile dropkick just come across as sloppy and awkward. Considering his brawling look and size, its a real disappointment he doesnt perform more powerful moves like the spinebuster or DDT on his opponents.
