Brodie Lee will challenge for Jon Moxley's AEW World Championship at Double Or Nothing 2020 on 23 May.

The match was put together on last night's episode of Dynamite. Mr. Brodie's Dark Order minions swarmed Moxley and SoCal Uncensored following Mox's victory over Frankie Kazarian, leading to Lee's arriving. Lee joined in on the beatdown before grabbing the microphone, telling Moxley that he possessed something he wanted, leading to Jon saying all he had to do was ask. A boot to the face ended Moxley's night and the bout was made.

A controversial piece of booking for numerous reasons, though it doesn't violate the sanctity of wins and losses as Lee created his own challenge and Moxley would've looked cowardly for saying "no." Still, the absence of live crowds means there's no way of telling how over Brodie's cult leader bit is and it still feels like there's work to be done with The Dark Order before one of them is pushed to this level of prominence.

Let's see how it plays out.

Also confirmed for Double Or Nothing was MJF vs. Jungle Boy, adding to a card that already includes Cody vs. Lance Archer for the TNT Championship.
