Kenny Omega Not Cleared To Compete Following AEW Full Gear

AEW doctors refuse to clear the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion for in-ring competition.

Following his brutal match against Jon Moxley at this past Saturday’s AEW Full Gear PPV, Kenny Omega has taken to Twitter to reveal that he’s currently not cleared for in-ring action.

During Omega’s loss to Mox, the Canadian was hit with barbed wire, trash cans, a steel chain, mousetraps, and pretty much anything else that he and Moxley could lay their hands on. And as such, it looks as if all of that extreme action has taken its toll on The Best Bout Machine.

Regardless of whether he’s out of action or not, it clearly looks like the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion still has Moxley in his sights.

Omega isn’t the only AEW star who doctors have refused to medically clear, of course, with Cody another who is indefinitely out of action due to eight stitches above his eye and the small matter of a cracked rib – The American Nightmare losing to AEW Champion Chris Jericho due to the antics of uber-prick Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

The Omega vs. Moxley match has certainly split opinion amongst wrestling fans. Irrespective of your thoughts on that contest, nobody can argue that these rivals didn’t put their bodies through hell in the Full Gear main event.
