Kurt Angle Talks Brock Lesnar Ditching WWE For AEW

Does Kurt think it's a possibility?

Brock Lesnar jumping ship to AEW and leaving WWE in the dust sounds like one of the most implausible wrestling stories of our modern age.

Wrestling Inc asked Kurt Angle (someone who knows Brock very well) for his thoughts on the situation and whether or not he believes it could actually happen. Get this: Angle isn't ruling it out - he's probably too long in the tooth to discount anything when it comes to WWE or pro wrestling in general.

Kurt doesn't think WWE would be up for letting Lesnar go anywhere else, but he also realises that Brock is his own man and enjoys a lot more sway than most workers in 2020. Angle does think that Tony Khan would have to open his wallet and pay anywhere between "$10-20 million" if he wanted to see Lesnar in AEW though.

When pressed, Angle added that Brock is interested in MMA again. During passing conversations between both men, Lesnar has told Kurt that he'd single out Jon Jones for a box office blockbuster in UFC if he had the chance.

So, despite thinking a WWE extension is more likely, Angle wouldn't rule out an unlikely AEW jump or a UFC return for his old rival.
