Latest Update On Brandi Rhodes' Future
Brandi Rhodes is yet to re-emerge in wrestling since leaving AEW, BUT...
There is currently no word on whether or not the tryout match(es) Brandi Rhodes wrestled at the WWE Performance Center in August led to further negotiations between the two parties, reports Fightful Select.
The former AEW Chief Brand Officer has remained a free agent since she and husband Cody ended their time in the Tony Khan-helmed promotion earlier this year. Cody has since returned to WWE, however, mounting a blockbuster comeback at WrestleMania 38, immediately becoming one of the promotion's most beloved stars.
Fightful note that Brandi had hoped to integrate KultureCity, the sensory accessibility nonprofit for which she is a board member, and WWE.
The outlet hadn't heard of any talks between Brandi and AEW since their split, though AEW's television partners, Warner Bros. Discovery, made contact with Rhodes in September. The two parties are believed to retain a cordial relationship, though they aren't necessarily in regular contact.
Brandi and Cody starred in a reality series, Rhodes To The Top, airing on the Warner-owned TNT during their time in AEW. It appears this is now off the table with Cody back in WWE, whose content airs on FOX and USA Network.
