Has the Scottish Warrior signed a new deal with WWE?

With his existing WWE contract said to expire at some point after WrestleMania XL, many have questioned whether Drew McIntyre has penned a new deal with the market leader.

Currently doing the best work of his career, McIntyre has rightfully been used in a top spot in recent months, as highlighted by him defeating Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Title at 'Mania XL Night 2. Of course, the Scottish Warrior would lose that prize barely five minutes later when Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase, but the point still stands.

Despite this, Fightful Select reports that Drew is still yet to sign a new deal with WWE.

Unlike under the previous WWE regime, this is said to be "no cause for alarm", with it quite common for WWE to operate under a more relaxed approach when it comes to contract renewals these days. As such, the company has future plans for DM Hunk, with the belief that a new deal will eventually be agreed upon.

From McIntyre's viewpoint, he's expressed a desire to remain with WWE, although he obviously isn't afraid to test the waters elsewhere should a suitable deal not be presented to him. As for his current contract, that was previously due to expire before WrestleMania XL but had time added on due to injuries, with this deal expected to now be up at some point in the next couple of months.
