Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, and Cody Rhodes are currently locked in a three-way tug-of-war for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, but Saudi Arabia will not factor into any decision made regarding Zayn and the company's top prize.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has stated as much. Responding to a Twitter user's enquiry, he said:-

Zayn's Syrian heritage prevents him from appearing on WWE's twice-annual shows in Saudi Arabia. The promotion is expected to be planning its next event in the Kingdom for May, which has generated speculation on WWE's decision-making process ahead of Zayn's title fight.

Sami is set to challenge former Bloodline stablemate Reigns at Elimination Chamber this Saturday (18 February). The winner will then advance to face Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 in April.

The exceedingly well-received Undisputed Universal Championship scene has galvanised WWE's fanbase at a critical time, prompting thousands upon thousands of fantasy booking ideas, with Rhodes and Zayn standing as two white-hot babyfaces at the exact same time. The WrestleMania match being transformed into a Triple Threat is a popular choice amongst fans - as is a scenario where Reigns defends against Rhodes and Zayn in individual singles matches.
