Having now officially become #AllElite, there are some new details on Mercedes Moné signing with AEW.

Per Fightful Select, as highlighted by the talent themselves on social media, WWE's Bayley, Naomi, and Tamina were indeed in attendance for the Big Business special of AEW Dynamite last month. Certain AEW talents visited with the trio, and those WWE names were assured that they wouldn't be filmed as they were simply there to show support for their friend.

As for Mercedes having a new entrance theme, that was down to how her prior Moné theme was essentially a note-for-note rip-off of Kriss Kross' 1992 track Jump. Making things more problematic, is that Jump itself has several samples in it, meaning there'd be a significant clearance process to go through. That resulted in Mercedes' new CEO theme, which has pleased AEW with how it hammers home Moné's CEO nickname.

Fightful was also told that Mercedes Moné has had her own AEW locker room, and that's something that's been offered to other female AEW talent in the past. One other note on Moné's AEW arrival is that there were some initial pitches made to have the former Sasha Banks debut on the Jacksonville Homecoming episode of AEW Dynamite back in January.

For those wondering about Mercedes' future with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, NJPW sources told Fightful how there were "significant plans and hopes" for Moné as of last month. Of course, before suffering an ankle injury during the match itself, Moné was scheduled to defeat Willow Nightingale for the vacant NJPW Strong Women's Title back in May at NJPW Strong Resurgence. Due to that injury, an audible was called and Willow was the one to emerge victorious as the inaugural NJPW Strong Women's Champion, with this situation now playing into AEW programming.
