Netflix Pulls Vince McMahon's Docuseries
"That s**t’s out of here,” according to a Netflix source.
Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's scheduled Netflix docuseries has been pulled in the wake of the Wall Street Journal's report uncovering a number of new "sexual misconduct" and "infidelity" stories involving the founder of WWE .
This is according to F4WOnline's Denise Salcedo who reported that she was informed by sources that the incoming series has been dropped and is now no longer on Netflix's programming spreadsheet. On top of this, another of Salcedo's Netflix sources was said to have stated “that s***’s out of here” when discussing its pulling from their scheduled line-up.
Sources tell me that the Vince McMahon Netflix documentary has been pulled & is off the programming spreadsheet at Netflix. A source at Netflix confirmed it no longer being listed on their spreadsheet, another source at Netflix said “that s***’s out of here.” (1/2)

This isn't merely a case of binning off the idea at the pitching stage either, with the project already being said to have been in "deep" post-production, with multiple talents being interviewed for the show and "millions" already being spent on the series.
Another source indicated that the project was already “deep” in post-production & that several talent interviews had been done months ago & that millions were spent. I spoke to one of the producers on the project, however they declined to confirm nor deny this story to me. (2/2)

The docuseries was initially announced back in 2020 during the Q3 earning's call, with WWE having confirmed a “groundbreaking deal” with Netflix to produce said Vince McMahon series.
Also, despite this report being made public just hours before last night's edition of Friday Night SmackDown, PWInsider confirmed that McMahon was "100%" in control of creative during the latest blue show. Though he was said to have arrived late and once again completely no-sold the allegations.
