WWE rule the situation a tragic accident.

Paige's WWE career took the cruelest turn imaginable this weekend, when it was reported that an injury suffered at a December 28th house show meant she'd never be cleared to compete for the company again.

It all stemmed from a botched spot. Sasha Banks kicked Paige in the back, but the latter wasn't ready to take the bump, and suffered a nasty fall. Paige then needed help to get to the back and reportedly experienced a loss of sensation in her extremities. Now, she has been medically disqualified from wrestling for WWE again.

Banks found herself at the heart of this, but as per PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson, there's no backstage heat on 'The Boss' for what happened. He says that there is a belief that it was a freak accident that could have happened to anybody, and that the company feel it wasn't something that came as "a result of Banks' actions."

Let's hope this goes some way to quelling the admonishment aimed at Sasha since the Paige news broke. The former Divas Champion's forced retirement is impossibly sad, but accidents happen, and creating a villain only makes the situation sadder.
