NXT Star Officially Considered 'Part Of WWE's Main Roster'

WWE reportedly has no further plans for LA Knight on NXT 2.0.

Fightful Select's recent write up on Knight included details on his future too - according to the website, it's still not nailed on that LA will work as part of the SmackDown roster. This news comes despite Knight managing Mace against Erik of The Viking Raiders during a decent dark match segment taped before WWE's Friday night show.

There's still a chance that LA Knight could end up on Raw.

One thing's for sure though: WWE wants Knight to move on from NXT for good and try his luck on USA Network or FOX going forwards. That'll be music to the ears of LA himself, because he's surely been eager to move on from the rebranded developmental territory ASAP.

Knight's final NXT match was a loss to Gunther at Stand & Deliver in early-April. Since then, Gunther has traded NXT for SmackDown himself, and appears to be on the receiving end of a healthy TV push. Knight must be hoping he'll get the same treatment.

Watch this space, especially if WWE debuts LA on camera as a mouthpiece for Mace.
