3. Aleister Black Vs. Hideo Itami

Result: Black kills Itami with the Black Mass for the victory (12:40).

Rating: A physical bout that could've gone either way and certainly run much longer than it did, this was a super-stiff contest that further elevated the potency of the Black Mass while still ensuring Itami got his due in arguably one of his best NXT matches to date (if not his outright best).

It kept up the intensity level over its tight run-time, the crowd were totally into it and the right man won, though with a greater focus on the desperation to win from a storytelling perspective, these two could put on a legit classic in the future. 8/10
