Potential WWE 2023 Draft Plans Revealed?
Which WWE stars could be set to receive a main roster call-up during the latest Draft?
WWE are discussing the possibility of calling up a number of NXT talents during the upcoming Draft.
That's according to a recent report from PWI Elite, with it being said that five names in particular were mentioned in pitches for a main roster call up over the last few weeks. Those NXT stars are Cameron Grimes, Zoey Starks, Pretty Deadly, and Ilja Dragunov.
While it isn't known which brands Grimes and Starks would potentially be heading over to in a week's time, Dragunov was said to have been pitched to land on SmackDown, with Pretty Deadly reportedly being Raw-bound. Though these plans could always be scrapped at the last-minute because, well, this is WWE.
Tyler Bate is also a name that has reportedly been mentioned internally as a potential call-up during Draft season, with the Brit impressing in a match against former NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler on Main Event recently.
It's been speculated that Ziggler's one-time rival Bron Breakker could also be on the verge of finally being called up to either the red or blue brand in the not too distant future, too.
All will be revealed in just under a week's time as the WWE 2023 Draft kicks off on April 28's SmackDown before concluding on the May 1 edition of Raw.
