Power Ranking WWE's Top Performers For November 2016
5. Dean Ambrose
Previous Ranking: 6
After a disappointing October, Dean Ambrose saw his stock rise during the month of November. Someone who has always been on the see-saw of superstardom since the moment The Shield parted ways, The Lunatic Fringe is back at the top of SmackDown's pecking order.
The inclusion of James Ellsworth in his feud with AJ Styles has actually been somewhat detrimental to the image WWE had been trying to build for Ambrose. He's now less "unhinged maniac" and more "overprotective big brother with a heart of gold". Whether or not that's good for him in the long term (spoiler alert: it's not), it has him back as the top contender to The Phenomenal One's title.
There were rumors of a heel turn brewing for Dean, but with AJ Styles knocking it out of the park as a bad guy and Ambrose continuing to draw serious fan support, now is not the time to pull the trigger on that, and thankfully things don't seem to be heading that way.
With a main event match headlining the TLC pay-per-view, it'll take some serious negative effort for Ambrose not to climb the rankings for December.
