I think we're at the point where we need to start having serious discussions about Chris Jericho and where he belongs among the pantheon of all-time greats. I don't think anyone would argue he's not one of the most versatile and gifted performers to ever lace the boots up, but it's time to start seriously considering Chris to be one of the GOATs.

I'm not suggesting we put him on the Mt. Rushmore of wrestling legends, but he's definitely pushed his way into the top ten and if his career continues on its current path he's going to keep ascending. His ability to consistently reinvent himself is one of his most impressive qualities, and this most recent run has been among his most entertaining stints yet.

Only Chris Jericho could take phrases as simple as "stupid idiot" and "you're going to get...IT" and turn them into super-over catchphrases. That's Rock-level mic work and nobody else in the company could get away with it. He's currently doing some of the best work of his career, behind only his 2008 run against Shawn Michaels and his original obnoxious heel shtick in WCW.

JeriKO has been a highlight of each week's Raw, and kudos to Chris for being able to keep his ego in check while giving unlimited amounts of rub to nearly everyone he interacts with. He's still capable of having a great match with the right opponents, is one of the most over guys in the company and is a top five promo.

Maybe we'll even see one last title run for Jericho before he finally decides to hang up his scarf for good. If not, as long as he keeps doing what he's doing he'll continue to place highly on this list.
