Predicting The First 10 WWE Universal Champions
3. Xavier Woods
After winning the title at WrestleMania, Shinsuke Nakamura will embark on a lengthy reign as Universal Champion. He'll defend the title against the likes of Finn Balor (now a heel associated with The Club), Roman Reigns, two-time MITB winner Kevin Owens and even Kota Ibushi in a babyface-versus-babyface match. His reign will meet its end at the Survivor Series, though, when he falls to the man who destroyed The New Day - Xavier Woods.
All three of the members of The New Day have the potential to be singles stars (in fact, Kofi Kingston has been there before), but Woods could feasibly end up as the Seth Rollins of the group. His larger-than-life personality helped make The New Day the most popular act in the company, and his in-ring abilities - which have been underutilized - are nothing short of outstanding. Expect Woods's turn on his partners to be one of the most heartbreaking moments of 2017, and he'll ride that wave of momentum to becoming the hottest heel on Raw.
After a pair of reigns with the United States Championship, Woods will make a run at Nakamura's Universal Title. At Survivor Series 2018, he'll pull every bit of high-risk offense out of his arsenal to stun "The King of Strong Style" and capture the belt.
