Predicting The First 10 WWE Universal Champions
2. Big E
Xavier Woods winning the Universal Championship certainly won't sit well with his former partners in The New Day, Kofi Kingston and Big E. Kingston will be the first to try and win the title from Woods, but a protracted feud will see Woods retain the championship. With some help from bodyguard Dylan Miley, Woods will also score wins over Big Cass and Drew McIntyre, carrying him into WrestleMania 2019 season as Universal Champ.
That means that he'll have to take on Royal Rumble winner Big E at the show of shows, giving Woods the match he wanted least of all. Still, the champ will have no choice but to head into the showdown at WrestleMania 35, wanting anything more than to have to kiss his belt goodbye.
The bout at WrestleMania will see all of the bad blood of The New Day's rupture finally come to a head, with Big E and Woods bringing their long relationship to its boiling point. Kingston will get involved as well, running in to take out Miley and give his friend a fair fight. Finally, Woods will attempt a moonsault press, but Big E will catch him and deliver The Big Ending for the win and the title.
