Predicting The Next 10 WWE World Champions
7. Keith Lee
Keith Lee's debut on the main roster was divisive to say the least. Fans felt that the NXT star's new attire and generic new music stripped him of some of the identity they loved so much, but he was given the chance to flourish with some major victories - including a PPV win over Randy Orton.
Lee's momentum has stalled in recent months but it was clear that creative was attempting to present him as a force to be reckoned with (albeit a bit of a directionless one). With that in mind, it does seem like the company is going slow with him now that his main roster flurry is out if the way and perhaps it's so that they can slowly build him as a legitimate threat for the main champion.
The fanbase adores Lee and are hoping that he will be one of the few NXT superstars who actually find major success on the main roster, so don't be surprised if he proves them right by becoming the one to take the gold from Drew McIntyre.
As for how that would happen? Well, the Royal Rumble is right around the corner, so that's always an option. Then again, if rumours are to be believed about Big E winning that one, then Lee could always dominate the Elimination Chamber instead, earning a chance to confront McIntyre (and perhaps even Brock Lesnar) in the main event of WrestleMania and ultimately taking the WWE Championship from him.
