Predicting The Next 12 WWE World Heavyweight Champions
5. Finn Balor
In all honesty, men like Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Hideo Itami, and a handful of others are equally as deserving of a mention here. Bo Dallas sadly serves as proof of how top level NXT talents can get lost in the midcard shuffle once they reach the WWE though, and Finn Balor stands out as the one who perhaps stands the best chance of going straight from the Orlando based promotion to a main event spot on Raw and SmackDown. NXT talents being brought up to the WWE has been hit and miss. On the one hand, you have the undefeated Rusev who has slowly made his way up through the card, and then on the other, there's the cartoonish makeover of The Ascension and men like Cesaro and Tyson Kidd who don't get the spotlight they deserve. What makes Balor different? His entrance, in ring ability, and signature body paint combined are all the ingredients needed to make him a compelling and exciting presence on the main shows to those who don't watch NXT, and a big win at something like this year's Money in the Bank ladder match after a month or two blowing everyone away in a feud with a superstar like Daniel Bryan or Seth Rollins could be all that's needed to put Balor over and propel him into the big time.
