Predicting WWE's 10 Champions At The End Of 2018

10. WWE United Kingdom Championship - Pete Dunne

Is this the hardest championship in WWE to predict? Arguably, but much of this comes down to the murkiness of the division in general. Little progress was made with WWE’s United Kingdom territory in 2017, and the entire British scene was propped up by one fantastic match. The prospect of a standalone TV show grows smaller all the time.

With that in mind, it wouldn’t be a surprise in the slightest to see Pete Dunne in possession of this belt come the end of 2018. That doesn’t necessarily mean he will carry it all the way through, but it is difficult to put much faith in anyone else at this point. Dunne can drop the belt to someone like Killian Dain, only to regain it as the SAnitY member moves up to the main roster.

Some are clamouring for the UK Championship to become the secondary title in NXT, but there is little value or sense in making that decision. It works fine as a title than can be trotted out every now and then in NXT, while leaving the holder to ‘defend’ it on independent shows around the globe.

Pete Dunne remains the best man for the job
