Ranking 10 Best WWE Raw Episodes Of 2015

5. January 19, 2015

The Highlights: WWE didn't exactly start off 2015 strong with the first few weeks of Raw and poor build for the Royal Rumble, but the Raw Reunion special on January 19 gave fans hope going into the event. It was similar to the Old School Raw concept featuring the likes of the nWo, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, all of whom played their roles well. APA, nWo and New Age Outlaws came at the expense of The Ascension, but they never ultimately amounted to much, so it wasn't as if it mattered, anyway. John Cena bringing the recently fired Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan back to work was noteworthy, but it was what happened afterward that stole the night. Following Sting's shocking Raw debut, Brock Lesnar closed out the show by annihilating all of The Authority in grandiose fashion, making it known that no one was taking his title that Sunday at the Royal Rumble. The Low Points: In between all the awesomeness was mostly filler. Nothing was too terrible, mind you, but The New Day (who were still insufferable at that point) beating Tyson Kidd and Cesaro was a waste of time while Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett was a lose-lose situation for both men at that time. Jey Uso vs. The Miz also wasn't anything we hadn't see before, but thankfully, the positives outweighed the negatives and gave fans an early glimpse of what to expect in 2015.
