Ranking 10 Best WWE Raw Episodes Of 2015

2. March 30, 2015

The Highlights: It's become a tradition since 2012 or so that the night of WrestleMania is always electric and WWE tends to fire on all cylinders. It's the start of a new wrestling year and with the excitement level still at a high from WrestleMania weekend, just about anything can happen. The strong streak of great post-WrestleMania Raws continued this year with Brock Lesnar fuming over his loss of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and taking out his frustration on the commentary team, instantly turning him babyface in the process. Daniel Bryan defended his newly won Intercontinental Championship in a highly competitive match against Dolph Ziggler, leading to the not-so-anticipated return of Sheamus, who turned heel at long last that night. Elsewhere on the show, Neville made his main roster debut defeating Curtis Axel, the seeds were planted for The New Day's eventual heel turn, and John Cena hosted his first ever U.S. Open Challenge. The show is also notable for featuring AJ Lee's final WWE match before she retired from active competition that Friday. The Low Points: As phenomenal as the first two hours were, the third hour was less-than-stellar, specifically the main event. It saw Randy Orton and Ryback team with a mystery partner against The Authority, and naturally, fans expected a huge surprise. Instead, they were given Roman Reigns, who the crowd greeted with a chorus of boos. They proceeded to take control of the contest by chanting the entire time and they aren't to blame. WWE should have anticipated that and given them someone they knew the fans wouldn't reject. Sting was there that night, why not him?
