6. The Horror Show At Extreme Rules: Braun Strowman Vs. Bray Wyatt (Wyatt Swamp Fight)
I can only imagine the ranking of the Swamp Fight will vary wildly, depending on who you ask. As an unashamed lover of all things ridiculous, this was a very cool and indirect way to introduce Alexa Bliss into The Fiend's character development, and the sight of a previous Wyatt incarnation was awesome (remember, the booking killed that character, Bray was still utter gold on the mic).
There's way too much to unpack here, but let's run through the highlights. Braun Strowman doppelganger, Braun Strowman chained up and bitten by a snake, Braun Strowman sets a man on fire, Alexa Bliss appears looking exactly like Sister Abigail should have, Bray Wyatt has a magic boat, Bray and Braun both drown, and The Fiend appears and laughs afterwards.
If you haven't checked it out yet for whatever reason, you'll know from that description whether this one is for you or not. It wasn't much of a 'match', more of a cinematic acid trip, but the theatrics and setting made it feel like a terrible B-movie horror; one of those so-bad-it's-good scenarios that you can't help but talk about the next day. Wyatt did a lot of that this year...
