5. TLC: The Fiend vs. Randy Orton (Firefly Inferno Match)

Roman Reigns Drew McIntyre
WWE

The dust is still settling on this match at the time of writing. With the Raw following TLC in the books, it seems as though WWE is following through and having Wyatt take some time away to reset and come back with a fresh head of steam; only time will tell if we're going to see another character reset for Wyatt or if The Fiend will return to exact vengeance.

The bout itself was as good an Inferno match as you'll see, mainly due to the fire being around the ringside area as opposed to around the ring itself. The spot where Orton is sat in a rocking chair with flame coming towards him was awesome - despite being obviously cut together post-recording this match - but the whole point of this extreme experience was the ending.

Yes, on close viewing it was clearly a dummy being burned in the centre of the ring, and they definitely lingered and zoomed in too far on the Fiend dummy. However, given the safety-first PG approach that WWE has adopted, that closing shot is already another iconic addition to the legacy of both Wyatt and Orton.
