Ranking All 12 WWE Champions Of The Decade (So Far)

2. John Cena

Despite losing some of his status as the company's main man in the last five years, John Cena must still be considered the top dog of the WWE - a fact his seven title reigns this decade go some way to prove. Cena kickstarted two such reigns at WrestleMania, forcing Batista to submit in 2010 and defeating The Rock in 2013. Further highlights include winning the 2014 Money In The Bank ladder match for the vacant title, and helping to legitimise the rains of stars such as CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar. Love Cena or loathe him, there's no WWE superstar better-suited to building up the importance of the championship. The frequency of his reigns may provoke intense criticism from many a wrestling fan, but his ability to build up fellow wrestlers by association (and put on fantastic matches with the right opponent) can't be overlooked.
