As announced by special guest General Manager Eric Bischoff at WCPW Stacked, none other than the 'Hitman' Bret Hart is coming to the promotion this October.

On October 6, Hart will make an appearance at the Refuse To Lose iPPV, followed up by appearances on the October 7 WCPW Loaded taping and on the first Manchester event for the company on October 8.

Already, everyone is buzzing about the Canadian hero making his return to the United Kingdom, the scene of some historic moments for Hart. Since those halcyon days of the 1980's, Bret has been making an impact on British fans, and his October run in WCPW will prove no different.

Included in this collection are four matches and a single ringside showing for one of the greatest technical wrestlers to ever grace the ring. During his battles in Great Britain, Hart has suffered injuries, carried flagging peers to classics and constructed one of the most under-rated bouts to ever take place on these shores.

Let's delve into Hart's British history, ranking his UK moments from worst to best...

5. David Hart Smith Vs. The Miz (WWE Raw - April 12, 2010)

As unfortunate as it is to say, Bret Hart's historic WWE return in 2010 didn't actually turn out that great. There were a number of reasons for this, but they include that disappointing match with Vince McMahon at WrestleMania XXVI and a completely unnecessary run as WWE United States Champion (spanning one week).

Making his first appearance in the UK for well over a decade, Hart was greeted by a huge reaction on the April 12, 2010 episode of Monday Night Raw. The show emanated from the O2 Arena in London, England, and longtime fans were delighted to see Bret interrupt the ramblings of The Miz and The Big Show.

Hart's role here was to introduce a match between David Hart Smith and Miz, then watch as the Hart Dynasty member was defeated. As per a pre-agreed stipulation, Bret would then have to proclaim Show-Miz the greatest tag-team ever on the following week's show.

As happy as people were to see Bret on this occasion, it was by far the most limited of his UK showings for the WWF/WWE.
