The most prestigious title in all of WWE got the best possible start to life thanks to the separation from the main roster instantly created by 'Anti-Diva' Paige's overseeing of a reborn genre.

An Arrival defence against Emma shortly before her 2014 call-up highlighted what those watching NXT had long realised - women's wrestling was at long last going to be shown some respect.

Her surrender didn't feel remotely weak - the crop bubbling underneath her were more than ready to make good on the hard yards she'd ran establishing the league as an increasingly pressing concern.
