Ranking Every Goldberg Match In WWE Since His 2016 Return
1. Vs. Bobby Lashley: Crown Jewel 2021
Goldberg who built his legacy on dominating opponents quickly, and almost never wrestling more than five minutes. That being said, it's astonishing his best match in his return to WWE was also his longest.
At Crown Jewel 2021, Goldberg proved once again that he does not need to be thrown into championship matches haphazardly to have a great showing. Following their lacklustre performance at SummerSlam several months ago, Goldberg was out for revenge against the former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.
Fighting all across the Mohammed Abdu Arena, this was a personal, bloody and violent war that the sometimes tame Saudi crowd was more than into. Goldberg took out Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, and finally The All Mighty with a gnarly looking spear off the entrance way through a table for the win.
Goldberg winning was partially a shock given the dominance of Bobby Lashley since becoming WWE Champion. Nevertheless, during this match fans were reminded of what made Goldberg one of the best acts in WCW history.
