9. Armageddon Hell In A Cell

If this list were based purely on the degree of starpower these Hell in a Cell matches featured, this would undoubtedly be top of the pile.

At Armageddon 2000, as the Attitude Era reached its culmination, the Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, the Undertaker, Kurt Angle and Rikishi faced off in perhaps the most star-studded match in company history.

Truth be told, this one probably proved to be a case of too many cooks spoiling the brew, as it became pretty difficult to keep tabs on the action with six guys vying for position.

Amidst all the chaos though, the most memorable moment was probably the bump that Rikishi took from the Cell roof as ‘Taker thrust him over the edge and onto a conveniently-parked truck bed filled with pine chips. The madness would then eventually end in contrastingly understated fashion; Angle snaked in to steal the pinfall after Austin had hit the Rock with a Stunner, affording us all a much-deserved moment to stop and pause for breath.
