The Highlights: By May 2015, NXT's TakeOver specials had become some of the most anticipated events of the year, and TakeOver: Unstoppable wasn't about to break that strong streak. Even with Hideo Itami out injured, Finn Bálor and Tyler Breeze still contested a nice match in the opening slot, but it was the women that stole the show when Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks contested a classic.

For the second straight special, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn failed to produce the thrilling main event fans knew they could have, but the storytelling was spectacular. Besides, the unannounced debut of Samoa Joe more than made up for it.

The Low Points: Alexa Bliss turning heel and costing Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady their NXT Tag Team Championship match against Blake and Murphy was cool, but the match itself left a lot to be desired. Baron Corbin vs. Rhyno wasn't much better, and although it was a competent contest which didn't last long, it was largely a snore-fest.

Including the second women's match, which saw Charlotte and Bayley team up against Emma and Dana Brooke, is merely nitpicking, but it didn't serve much of a purpose other than to get them on the card.
