Randy Orton's 2004 World Championship win took a record away from Brock Lesnar (sort of, and only until WWE were happy for him to have it back) and ensured that Triple H's vanity belt got back home without 'The Game' beating Chris Benoit, but it set the third generation stat back years over the space of just a few short weeks.

Turned babyface by being turned on by the rest of Evolution, 'The Legend Killer' was a gold-less loner within a month of having it all.
