Edge Elimination Chamber

Showing dominance in the Chamber in his penultimate Pay-Per-View match ever, Edge's victory in the World Title clash would mark the first time in five years a World Champion had retained their title in the structure.

Despite a fabulous closing spot in which 'The Rated-R Superstar' caught Rey Mysterio in mid-air with a spear, the match struggled to get out of the blocks with an indifferent cast and little doubt of who would be facing Royal Rumble winner Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania 27.

Making up the numbers, The Big Show, Wade Barrett, Kane & Drew McIntyre used all the usual high-volume Chamber shortcuts, but the booking was ultimately unable to work around the predictability, with fans mainly sitting on their hands until the tantalising final stretch.

Furthermore, the post-match action dominated discussion, with Christian making a surprise return from injury to save Edge from a Del Rio beatdown and help build the clash at the 'Show of Shows' that would see the former 'brothers' unite against Del Rio and his new heavy Brodus Clay.
