Best to get this "Throwback" out of the way early as it was likely more Pat McAfee being on the ball on commentary than anything else.

In one of the only major acknowledgements of the star who gave birth to the name of the show that has gone on to become a WWE staple, Ruby Riott threw a cheeky Rock Bottom into her losing display against former SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella. Well, kind of.

Michael Cole referred to the move as a "leg-sweep takedown", which was pretty much what actually went down. However, sensing the moment to put over The Great One, the newest member of the SmackDown broadcast team noted the move's similarities to The Rock's finisher of choice.
