Ranking Every WWE WrestleMania Main Event - From Worst To Best
42. Sycho Sid vs The Undertaker (WrestleMania 13)
WCW famously defeated WWE for 83-weeks in a ratings war that fueled the basis of the Monday Night Wars. While The Outsiders, Hollywood Hogan, Sting, and Randy Savage were involved in angles that were electrifying fans around the world, the WWE were in a state of flux. Nothing defined that fact like Sycho Sid vs The Undertaker headlining WrestleMania 13.
The match is best known for being the first time The Undertaker headlined WrestleMania, something he wouldn't do again for another 11 years, but WrestleMania 13 was all about two other superstars. This was the night that Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin's generational feud came to a head, with Austin refusing to tap out to the Sharpshooter, bleeding like a victim of Art the Clown, and earning the respect of everybody.
Undertaker and Sycho Sid put their bodies on the line in a No DQ Match to try and keep up. Sid took steel chair shots from a returning Bret Hart, before Taker hit the Tombstone to earn victory in a match that is a dud in-between the classic Mania main events of WrestleMania 12 and WrestleMania 14.
