1. TKO Are Wrecking WWE On Purpose

Even the most ardent WWE Stan has a hard time defusing some of the TKO-flavoured criticisms being thrown at the company in its current guise

Creative has taken such a nose dive since the Netflix deal started that it can be argued that not a single star is more over than when the deal came in. In the year before that deal started, all of the big stars were involved in great stories, and the likes of Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu looked like they were set to be world beaters.

Advertisements have gotten so out of control that this year's WrestleMania had more ads than wrestling on Night 1, and SummerSlam featured Chad Gable's Intercontinental Championship victory being crashed by a MUG Root Beer mascot. Throw in the Wingstop logo on Roman Reigns' steel chair for his Shield-flavoured dilemma with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam Night 2, as well as Raw feeling like an ads show with some wrestling on it, and things are pretty out of control right now.

Then there are the ticket prices, which have skyrocketed since TKO took complete control of WWE. This situation has become so toxic that the two biggest events in WWE's 2026, WrestleMania and SummerSlam, have been noticeably less full, with SummerSlam's situation being so dire that WWE didn't announce its attendance figures.

But what if this is all being done on purpose? When the news broke of Vince McMahon selling the company to Saudi Arabia back in 2023, there was global outrage. What if TKO is tanking WWE on purpose, so that when the company is eventually sold to Saudi Arabia, everyone sees it as a positive thing because of how badly TKO has ruined things?

There's no way Paul Levesque just forgot how to make the great wrestling programming that fans were lapping up during his outstanding first 15-18 months in charge, right? There are enough warning signs that WWE is currently failing its audience that those behind the scenes and in positions of power have to be aware of them. What if this is all being set up to make a future WWE Saudi Arabian ownership seem like they're the heroes who saved WWE from the evil TKO?
