Ranking The Biggest Rivalries In Wrestling Every Year 1990-2020

1. 2020 - Kenny Omega Vs Hangman Page

Kenny Omega Hangman Page
AEW

As of this writing, Kenny Omega and Hangman Page haven't yet had a singles match in All Elite Wrestling, and have only just lost the Tag Team Titles they've held for the bulk of 2020. Yet, their story is one so compelling that the weight of expectation overawed the aforementioned loss and has blown apart the very group seen as responsible for the very existence of the company.

Cast as the losing corners of a fragmented Elite early into AEW's run, Omega and Page made strange but successful bedfellows in the doubles division. In the year or so since, Page has been emotionally manipulated by FTR, booted out of The Elite by The Young Bucks and left alone by an Omega masking his own gradual mental degradation.

Flashes of 'The Cleaner' of old have shown themselves, with Matt and Nick Jackson going through their own problems as an indirect result. Lots of epic feuds feature more than just the two key players, but Page and Omega's eventual clash - and may it not formally arrive until more fans can be there to see it - feels like it'll be a fight for the very soul of the organisation.
