It's slightly sad that a championship most fans don't even know exists because of how hidden 205 Live is feels more important than some straps on SmackDown Live and Raw right now.

Nevertheless, Tony Nese has been quite the fighting champion since beating Buddy Murphy for the belt on the WrestleMania 35 Kickoff show. Their rematch on 205 Live two nights later was even better with the back-to-back victories solidifying Nese as the top babyface on the show.

Nese's only other title defense to date occurred at Money in the Bank when he knocked off Ariya Daivari in a decent bout. His next title defense is scheduled for Sunday at Stomping Grounds when he takes on Akira Tozawa and Drew Gulak in a Triple Threat match.

To no one's surprise, 205 Live has done an excellent job of keeping Nese strong by having him win all of his non-title matches and giving him time to talk more often than not. However, that doesn't change how crowds continue to sit on their hand for these Cruiserweight matches on the main roster pay-per-views.

As long as that's the case, it's difficult to rank this above other championships in the company. More exposure for the 205 Live guys would go a long way in making them more of a focal point.
