Reason For AEW Favourite's Recent Absence From TV

This title holder has been absent from TV for nearly a month.

Having been absent from television for approaching a month, there's now an update on the status of ROH TV Champion Kyle Fletcher.

Via Fightful Select, Fletcher's absence from TV is due to a visa issue that means he's unable to work in the United States at this time. As such, he's obviously not been able to appear for either AEW or ROH.

Despite this bump in the road, Fightful is told that AEW is "very happy" with the work of the Aussie Open man, with Fletcher stepping up as a singles act while his tag team partner, Mark Davis, is out of action with a broken wrist.

Prior to his visa problems, Fletcher was set to embark on a rivalry with Ethan Page over the ROH TV Title. For now, those plans are clearly on hold, but should hopefully be picked back up with when the Australian is once again allowed to compete on US soil.

As it stands, Kyle Fletcher last wrestled on the 31 January episode of AEW Dynamite, coming up short against Chris Jericho.
