Rebooking WWE Unforgiven 1999 - 9 Ways To Make It Better

4. The Big Show Vs. Mankind Vs. The British Bulldog - Hardcore Championship

All three of these men were involved in the historic (and overrated) Six Pack Challenge match for the vacant WWE Championship, but that's being scrapped for this reimagined version of events. This time, all three men would compete for the Hardcore Championship. British Bulldog was Hardcore Champion not long before the event, but he lost it to Al Snow. Let's say that doesn't happen here, and Bulldog instead enters into a three-way feud with Mankind and Big Show. Both of those men (especially Mick Foley) excelled at gimmick matches, and it would add a little something extra to the show. As is the case with most Hardcore Title matches of this era, the three men would take the fight all over (and perhaps out of) the arena. Foley, whose career was very much winding down at this point due to injuries, would not be requested to take any big bumps. The winner here doesn't particularly matter, as the Hardcore Title was arbitrary anyway, but let's take it off Bulldog and give it to Big Show (so he at least has something to do for the next little while).
