Rebooking WWE Unforgiven 1999 - 9 Ways To Make It Better

3. Al Snow Vs. Big Boss Man - Dog Collar Match

It is impossible to talk about Unforgiven 1999 without mentioning the infamous Kennel from Hell match. For those unaware, the Kennel from Hell was a one time only match that consisted of a steel cage, inside a Hell in a Cell, with attack dogs situated at ringside. Seriously. It was supposed to provide the stage for the big blowoff between Al Snow and Big Boss man, Boss Man had cooked and fed Al Snow his own dog Pepper (a play on the Taco Bell chihuahua), which he understandably took issue with, leading to this incredibly silly match. It was probably a good idea in theory but, in practice, it turned into a disaster. The action was awful and the dogs at ringside kept disobeying orders from their handlers and pooping on the floor. Just awful. How about instead of this harebrained scheme we go for something more traditional and that actually, you know, works. The dog collar match, where two competitors are chained together via a dog collar, is a tried-and-tested match that has been used countless times to settle deeply personal feuds. Even if this turned out to completely suck, it would still be a thousand times better than the - *shudder* - Kennel from Hell.
