6. Tag Team Battle Royal Feat. T&A, APA, Kaientai, Buchanan & Boss Man, D-Lo& Godfather, Head Cheese, Viscera & Mideon, Mean Street Posse And The Headbangers

This tag team battle royal is designed to shift a lot of the dead wood out of 15-man Hardcore Title match, as well as getting rid of two of the more underwhelming undercard tag team matches, those being The Godfather & D-Lo Brown versus Big Boss Man & Bull Buchanan and Test & Albert versus Head Cheese (Al Snow & Steve Blackman). Neither match was particularly inspired and made sure the show got off to a slow, plodding start. By putting these teams, along with the likes of Kaientai and the APA in a No.1 Contenders battle royal, it should hopefully give the show a better pace. This one goes no more than ten minutes (entrances themselves would probably take around that long) and comes down to the APA versus T&A. After a timely Trish Stratus distraction, the up-and-coming T&A get the duke, going on to face whoever are the Tag Team Champions next month at Backlash.
